Franchise Mode Needs a Serious Overhaul

At the end of the day, the problem isn’t just one thing—it’s that Franchise Mode hasn’t evolved. Evermlb 25 stubsy year we hope for something more, and every year we get a few cosmetic tweaks and some new menus. That’s not innovation. That’s maintenance.

Meanwhile, other modes like Diamond Dynasty and Road to the Show get all the attention. It feels like Franchise Mode is just there to check a box.

We need a complete overhaul:

Smarter AI decision-making

Richer contracts and negotiations

A real scouting and draft war room

Historical era play

Better immersion and narrative tools

Franchise Mode has a ton of potential. But as it stands now, it feels like a missed opportunity. If SDS truly wants to make The Show the most complete baseball experience, they’ve got to stop treating Franchise Mode like a legacy feature—and start treating it like the centerpiece it should be.
