Blizzard is giving Diablo 4 players a free trial for the Diablo 4 items Vessel of Hatred DLC, which sounds great on paper, but I have to ask—what’s the catch?

Usually, when a big company offers something for free, there’s a reason behind it. Are they struggling with pre-orders? Is Diablo 4 losing players faster than expected? Or is this just a way to generate hype before the official release?

I also wonder what limitations they’ll put on this trial. Will we get full access to the new class, or will it be locked behind progression walls? Will new loot drop, or will rewards be disabled?

Don’t get me wrong—I think a free trial is a great idea. It gives players a chance to see if the DLC is worth buying. But if it ends up being just a tiny, restricted demo, it might not have the impact Blizzard is hoping for.

Anyone else skeptical about this, or are you just D4 items  excited to get free access to the new content?
