An annual outdoor festival in downtown Tampa in mid February (February 14, 15 & 16, 2014) to watch the oldest intercollegiate sporting event, rowing races, on the Hillsborough River.  It is named for President Theodore Roosevelt because he spent time on this riverbank in 1898.

Live entertainament, fashionable attire, appetizers & cash bar.  Lanterns will be launched on the river to remember children who lost their lives & to honor those who survive.  Proceed to benefit the Children's Dream Fund.

Free parking is available on the street East of the park & North of Kennedy Boulevard.  Paid parking is available in garages on the North & South sides of the park

-On the Regatta Central page, go to the top yellow button & select "Join"
-If you are registering to race in a dragon boat, select your team or create a new one
-If you are registering to race a paddle-board or kayak, select "Unaffiliated"
-Complete the required information
-Select "Roosevelt Paddling Regatta on 01/06/13"
-Select "Register" under the regatta & select "Save"
-Select your entry
-Complete the required informationin "Line-Up" & select "Save"
-Select to make another entry or pay
